Description

The Round House is a mid-19th century house, originally a lodge. The core of the building is octagonal in plan and constructed of flint with brick quoins. Later 20th-century wings were added, faced with plaster. All roofs are thatched, with a central brick chimney stack. The exterior has been colour-washed. The original octagonal section features three-light casement windows; ground floor windows are topped with segmental brick arches. The later wings also have three-light casement windows with glazing bars. The entrance door is recessed.
