Description
This is an 18th-century range of buildings, originally comprising a farmhouse and later expanded with an additional cottage. The two southern cottages were the original farmhouse. The building is constructed of brown and red brick, with a hipped tiled roof featuring three hipped dormers. A moulded wooden eaves cornice and brick string course run along the facade. It has three sash windows with intact glazing bars, some of which are blanked. The ground-floor windows have cambered head linings, and shutters are present on the window of number 56. There are three simple cambered doorcases. A modern two-storey brick extension has been added to the rear.
