Description
Hall Cottages, built in the 18th century, is a range of red brick cottages located on Church Street in Madeley. The cottages feature a plain tile roof that is gabled at one end with stone coping and hipped at the other end. They have a moulded eaves cornice and are two stories tall with an attic. The building has five windows, which include original 2-light casements with leaded panes, set in segmental-headed openings on the ground floor. There are two plank doors with rectangular fanlights, and a brick string course at the first-floor level. The design includes three gabled dormers and a brick ridge stack. Additionally, there is a contemporary gabled wing at the rear, creating an L-shaped plan.
