Grove Cottages is a range of 18th century timber-framed and plastered cottages with red brick fronts, located on Newland Street. The building has a single storey and attics, with a seven-window front. Windows are 3-light casements with leaded lights, set in plain reveals and topped with segmental brick arched heads. The roofs are tiled and have a mansard design, with seven gabled dormers.
