Description
No. 5 West Street is an 18th-century building that stands two storeys tall and is constructed from brown brick with a tiled roof. On the first floor, there is one three-light casement window and one two-light casement window. The ground floor features one double-hung sash window set in a cambered arch and a wide sash window. The entrance has a simple four-panelled door with a moulded wooden architrave. The rear of the building slopes down to one storey. No. 5 is part of a group that includes Cheriton Lodge, Nos. 3 to 5, Southlands Hospital, Nos. 1 to 4, and The Limes, Nos. 1 and 2.
