Description

The stable building located to the rear of Rome House dates from the late 18th century to the early 19th century, although it incorporates some reused medieval masonry. The structure is two storeys high, with the ground floor primarily constructed of stone rubble, which is partially highlighted with flint galleting and red brick. The first floor features a combination of red brick and tile-hanging. The building has an old tiled roof that is half-hipped on one side and includes two stable doors. The stable building and Rome House are part of a group.
