Description

Oak House, together with numbers 18 and 20, has a single roof span. It is a timber-framed building that was refronted with red brick in the 18th century. The building is two storeys high and has two twin windows on the first floor, some of the glazing bars being missing. The ground floor windows have architraves. A doorcase, featuring an architrave surround with an open pediment supported on brackets, is positioned between the windows, and contains a door of six fielded panels, with the two upper panels cut away and glazed. A brick plinth is present. Numbers 16 to 24 (even), 24A, Kings House, numbers 28 and 30 form a group.
