Description

Nos. 27, 29, 31, and 33 on High Street are an 18th-century range of buildings. They are two storeys tall and constructed of brown brick, which is now painted. The roofs are tiled and feature two hipped dormers. A distinctive brick modillion eaves cornice is present, with the bricks inserted diagonally so that the points protrude. Nos. 27 and 29 have casement windows, while Nos. 31 and 33 each feature a three-light canted bay window on the first floor. There are two doorcases, each with pilasters and pediments above. These buildings are part of a group that includes Nos. 25 to 43 (odd).
