Description

Mascall House is a building from the 18th century or earlier, located on the southeast side of High Street. It has two storeys and is rendered with a steeply pitched tiled roof. The building features four sash windows, one of which retains its original glazing bars, while the other three have only verticals. There are later 19th-century shop fronts. The entrance to No 17 includes a doorcase with a cornice and panelled reveals. No 21 has a doorcase with a cornice supported by scrolled brackets and a six-panelled door, with the top four panels cut away and glazed. Nos 15 to 23 (odd) are part of a group of buildings.
