Description

Virginia Cottages, located at 1 and 2 Rome Road, are early 19th-century buildings. They are two storeys high, with a stuccoed front elevation and a brick side elevation. The cottages feature a half-hipped tiled roof and have two sash windows with verticals only. The doorcases are adorned with flat stone cornices and console brackets, and each cottage has a four-panelled door, with the top two panels cut away and glazed.
