Description
This barn, located about 10 meters west-southwest of Mount Farm, dates back to the 17th century. It is timber framed and weatherboarded, topped with a corrugated iron roof. The structure consists of three timber-framed bays, with aisles at the front and rear, and features a central midstrey. The barn has a flint and brick plinth and a hipped roof, along with a central porch that has a lean-to roof. Inside, there are shaped jowls on the arcade posts, arch-braced tie-beams, and a clasped-purlin roof supported by diminishing principal rafters and intermediate collars. Windbraces and curved passing shores are present in the aisles, along with jowled aisle wall-posts. Mount Farm itself is not listed.
