Description
Cavalry Farm House is a 17th-century farmhouse located in Stowting Common. It is timber framed and clad with red and grey brick in Flemish bond, topped with a plain tile roof. The building has two storeys and a cellar set on a flint plinth, featuring a central brick ridge stack. The windows are arranged irregularly, with two 3-light casements on each floor. There is a blocked central doorway that has been converted into a window. To the left, there is a short two-storey addition with a half-hipped roof. At the rear, there is a lean-to facing the road, which has a boarded door. The interior has only been partly inspected, but exposed framing is visible.
