Description
Bicknor Farmhouse is a 17th-century farmhouse with later alterations. It features a timber frame, with the ground floor constructed of red and grey brick, largely in Flemish bond to the left of the door and red brick in Flemish bond to the right. The first floor is weatherboarded, and the roof is covered with plain tiles. The building has two storeys and a garret, with a stone plinth to the left of the door and brick to the right. The right gable end jetties at the eaves level, and there is a central multiple brick ridge stack. The fenestration is irregular, comprising two 2-light wooden casements on the first floor and two 3-light windows on the ground floor. The entrance features a central ribbed door. To the left, there is a short rear return wing with a weatherboarded first floor and a later single-storey addition at the rear of the left gable end. The interior has not been inspected.
