Description
Langley Park Farmhouse is a late 18th-century farmhouse constructed of chequered red and grey brick. It stands two storeys high on a stone plinth, featuring a plat band in English bond above the ground floor and first floor windows. The roof is not visible, and there is a stone-coped parapet. At the rear, there are stacks to both the right and left with corbelled tops. The front of the house has a regular three-window arrangement, consisting of two tripartite sashes and a central 12-pane sash, all in open boxes with rubbed brick voussoirs. Small oeil-de-boeuf windows are located between each of the main windows. On the ground floor, there are two tripartite sashes. The central entrance features a half-glazed door that is accessed by two steps, topped with a decorative rectangular fanlight, and flanked by narrow glazing-bar sashes. A Doric porch with a deep flat hood is present, with a plain frieze and cornice that continue over narrow windows supported by Doric pilasters. The date "WG 180(3?)" is cut into the brick to the right of the door. The interior has not been inspected.
