Description

This is a row of houses. The front facade dates from the mid-19th century, though the building itself is older. The front elevation is faced with red brick laid in a Flemish bond pattern. The upper gable end on the right-hand side has exposed studs (possibly from the 18th century?), straight tension braces, and brick infilling. The roof is hipped, with the hips returning, and features a central brick ridge stack. The front has a regular three-window arrangement, with two two-light casement windows and a central single-light window. The ground-floor windows have segmental heads. The central boarded door is topped with a segmental brick head and a four-centred arched wooden architrave, dated 18 MEW FEMW FSW 53. Rear extensions have been added to the property. The interior was not inspected during the listing process, but it is said to contain beams.
