Description
Farthingsole Farmhouse is a 17th-century farmhouse with later alterations, restored in 1987. It is probably timber-framed, with the front elevation featuring red and grey brick in a Flemish-type bond from the left end to the stack, and older bricks in a mixed bond to the right. The roof is covered in plain tiles and has a lobby entry plan consisting of four timber-framed bays, with two bays to the left and one to the right of the stack bay. The building has two storeys and a plinth towards the left end, along with a plat band on the left gable end. The roof is hipped, and there is a multiple brick ridge stack towards the right end. The fenestration is irregular, consisting of four small two-light casements with segmental heads on the ground-floor casements. There is a panelled door with a segmental head located under the stack. The interior has not been inspected.
