Description

Old Mill House is a house dating from the late 18th century and early 19th century. The front elevation is rendered, while the left gable end is constructed of red and grey brick in a header bond, and the right gable end in an English bond. The roof is tiled, half-hipped to the left and gabled to the right. A brick stack rises from the rear slope of the roof towards the left, and another brick stack is located on the right gable end. The house has an irregular arrangement of three two-light eaves dormers with slanted, leaded roofs – one to the left and two to the right of the left stack. The ground floor features three two-light casements with segmental heads. A half-glazed door is centrally positioned within a rendered porch with a gabled, tiled roof, situated beneath the left stack. A two-storey red and grey brick rear wing extends to the left, with a gable-end stack. A lean-to addition is located to the right at the rear. The interior has not been inspected.
