Description

Bobbins Farmhouse is a farmhouse that was formerly a public house, likely built in the 18th century. It features red and grey brick in a Flemish bond pattern and has a plain tile roof. The building is 1½ storeys high and has a single-course plat band to the left of the door. To the right, there is a slightly lower chamfered brick offset, above which the first floor has two "chainâge" strips that shadow the ground-floor window. The roof is gabled on the left side and hipped on the right. There is a brick gable-end stack on the left and a ridge stack to the right of centre.

The farmhouse includes two small two-light eaves dormers with hipped plain tile roofs. The ground-floor windows are arranged irregularly, consisting of three small casements: one single-light window at the left end, one four-light window towards the centre, and one three-light window with a segmental head at the right end. There is a boarded door located under the stack.

To the right, there is a red brick lean-to addition that is slightly overlapped by the extension of the eaves of the main range, with the hip continuing as a lean-to roof. On the left side, there is a single-storey brick addition with a hipped plain tile roof, featuring two-light casements in each lean-to. The interior has not been inspected.
