Description

Coxsole Farm is an 18th-century farmhouse, potentially of earlier origins. The front elevation is rendered, while the left gable end is red brick. It has a plain tile roof, a rendered plinth, and a hipped roof. A red brick stack is located in the rear slope of the roof to the left of the centre, and a projecting brick gable-end stack is positioned to the right. The fenestration is irregular, comprising four three-light casement windows, one located to the left and three to the right of the stack. A boarded door is set within a rendered gabled porch situated under the stack. A rear lean-to has been added. A single-storey rear wing extends to the right, connecting the house to a red brick former barn that runs parallel to the rear of the house. The barn has a plain tile roof, gabled to the left and half-hipped to the right. The left gable end of the barn features a boarded door accessed by an external flight of steps, with a gabled bracketed hood above. A single-storey addition with a hipped plain tile roof is set back from the front elevation of the house. The interior remains uninspected.
