Description

Dr Syn's Restaurant is a house, now used as a restaurant. The visible facade dates back to the late 18th century, although the building itself may be older. The ground floor is painted brick, while the first floor is tile-hung. The roof is tiled, with a brick ridge stack located off-centre to the left. The windows have an irregular arrangement of two 3-light leaded casements. A 20th-century boarded door is situated towards the left end of the building. A painted brick lean-to extends to the left, and a 20th-century, two-storey, timber-framed addition is located to the right. The interior has not been inspected. This building possesses group value from its contribution to the streetscape.
