Description
59 High Street is a house that has been converted into a restaurant, dating from the 18th century. It features painted brick with brick corbelled eaves and has a plain-tile roof with a 20th-century roof-light. The building has two storeys on the right side and a single storey with an attic on the left. The street-facing side includes a single two-light casement window set in a brick segmental arched opening. There is a projecting bay window on the right, a central 20th-century glazed panelled door, and a 20th-century multi-pane bow window to the left at ground level. The interior has not been inspected. This building forms part of a group with other structures on High Street and is included for its group value.
