Description

No. 57 High Street is a shop that dates from the early 19th century, although it has an earlier core. The building features painted roughcast render and has projecting ashlar eaves. It has a plain-tile roof and a lateral brick ridge stack, with a rectangular plan that runs parallel to the street.

The exterior is two storeys high, with the street front displaying two 20th-century sash windows above a mid-19th century double-fronted shop display window. This window includes a central splayed doorway with a 20th-century glazed panelled door.

The interior has not been inspected. The building is part of a group with other structures on High Street and is included for its group value.
