Description

Nos 20 and 22 Market Street is likely a former Hall House. The section next to No 18 has had its original first floor removed, which has diminished much of the building's character. The front features imitation floorboard half-timbering, and there is a modern shop front. The remainder of the building is plastered and includes three sash windows, although the glazing bars are missing. A fascia runs across the first floor windows. The building has two gables and a tiled roof. Nos 4 to 24 (even) and the Milk Alley Flat with Nos 2 and 4 Potter Street form a group.
