Description

1 The Butchery is a three-storey brick building dating from the 18th century, featuring a tiled roof and imitation half-timbering on the first and second floors. The second floor has two casement sash windows with glazing bars, while the first floor has one sliding sash window with glazing bars. There are missing glazing bars on one box sash window on the ground floor. A hood from the 18th century, supported by brackets, is above a sliding sash window that has 27 panes of glass. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 1 to 5 (odd) and Nos 15 to 21 (odd) Market Street.
