Description

These are 16th-century timber-framed houses located on the north-west side of Potter Street. They were refaced in the 18th century and subsequently altered. Number 3 is two storeys high and has five windows. The first floor has been plastered. The ground floor is painted brick. Number 5 has a cemented front and a modern shop window on the ground floor, replacing original windows. Sash windows with glazing bars are present throughout, except for the ground floor of Number 5. Buildings 1 to 9 (odd numbers) together form a group.
