Description

This sundial, located about 15 metres north of the Church of St. Mary in Woodnesborough, dates from 1738. It features a brass plate and gnomon set on a stone base that is shaped like a vase. The base has a moulded plinth and cap, along with two steps. The brass plate is inscribed with "Woodnesborough W IB RG 1738".
