Description

The monument to the Sayer family is located about 25 metres southwest of the Church of St. Peter and St. Paul in Eythorne. This Grade II listed structure commemorates Thomas Sayer, who died in 1796, and his family. It is made of stone and features an obelisk that stands approximately 4 feet high. The obelisk is set on a double plinth, which rests on a triangular base with chamfered corners. Originally, the monument was surrounded by iron rails.
