Description

This early 19th-century building is a three-storey structure with a basement, originally built with a cement-rendered facade. It features a 2:1:1 arrangement of sash windows, with the original glazing bars intact, and windows on the lower floors have cambered heads. A doorcase is located on the left side, providing access to a six-panelled door with the top two panels cut away and glazed. The building is included on the list primarily for its group value, as it contributes to the character of numbers 1 to 10 Griffin Street. It also forms a group with numbers 3 and 4 George Street.
