Description

The walled garden located about 20 metres east of Knowlton Court is a structure from the 18th century and mid-19th century. It is built of red brick, with walls approximately 8 feet high that feature heavy coping and buttresses. The north wall is raised along the roadside and includes central gate piers, with an infilled section between them. The garden extends roughly 100 metres by 100 metres. Inside, there are 19th-century glasshouses made of both brick and glass, as well as a wooden frame and glass construction. In the southeast corner, there is a heavily overgrown gazebo or summer house.
