Description

The walled gardens located to the rear and right (south and east) of Alresford Hall date from the 18th century and are constructed of red brick. The walls are mostly intact, standing approximately 3 to 4 metres high and featuring pilaster buttresses and red brick coping. The eastern garden includes a central gardener's shed made of red brick, which has small paned windows and a vertically boarded door. In the western garden, the southern wall slopes down to a central ornate wrought iron gate with an overthrow.
