Description

These are a row of six mid-19th century townhouses located on College Road. They are built of yellow brick, though number 19 has been roughcast. The buildings have cement coping and a modillion cornice. Each house has one sash window, most of the original glazing bars being missing. The doorways have simple round-headed surrounds in rusticated brickwork. Numbers 15 and 17 feature six-panelled doors, while number 19 has a doorcase distinguished by keystones and pilasters. The properties are listed for their group value, forming a unified terrace with numbers 5 to 49 (odd) on the same side of the road.
