Description

Nos 8A and 8B on Alfred Square are mid-19th century buildings that stand three storeys tall with a basement, finished in stucco. The roof features two hips. The façade includes three sash windows with vertical glazing bars and keystones. On the ground floor, there are two shop fronts flanking a central doorcase, which is adorned with a cornice that has modillions, two console brackets, and a central grotesque mask. These buildings, along with Nos 1 to 8B, form a group with No 1 Sandown Road.
