Description

No. 1 High Street is a house dating from the early 18th century, with alterations made in the early 19th century. It is constructed of painted brick in header bond and features a plain tiled roof. The building has two storeys and an attic, standing on a plinth, with one flat-roofed dormer and a stack positioned at the right end. There are two margin light glazing bar sash windows on each floor, with the ground floor windows adorned with flying cornices. The central entrance consists of a half-glazed door set within a gabled porch. To the right, there is a single-storey extension.
