Description

Nos 20 and 22 Cattle Market are two-storey buildings constructed in the late 18th century or early 19th century, made of whitened brick. They feature flat rubbed brick arches and a modillion eaves course, with an eaves gutter and a tiled roof. Each window has complete glazing bars forming 16 squares, and there are two blind panels. The modern doors are topped with segmental rubbed brick arches, and yellow brick chimneys are present. These buildings are part of a group that includes Nos 14 to 22 (even) and St Johns Hospital Almshouses, United Reformed Church, along with Nos 2 to 12 (even) Moat Sole.
