Description

Nos 14 and 16 High Street are mid-18th century buildings made of whitened brick and standing two storeys tall. They feature two flat-headed 12-pane sash windows. There is a late 18th century moulded wood barred bow window that is connected to a later doorcase with a moulded cornice above. On the right side, there is an early 19th century small shop front and doorway. The buildings have modillion eaves and are covered with slate roofing. These buildings, along with the others on the south side from Nos 2 to 24, form a cohesive and attractive group.
