Description

Number 2 High Street is a mid-18th century building constructed of red brick. It has two storeys and attics, featuring four flat-headed sash windows with moulded sills and moulded keyblocks. The building has a modern shop front and a side passage that includes a six-fielded-panelled door. The eaves are adorned with brick modillions, and the roof is covered with old tiles, which include two gabled dormers. This building is part of a cohesive group of listed buildings on the south side of High Street, ranging from numbers 2 to 24 (even).
