Description

No 17 on High Street is an early 19th-century building with a whitened brick front that features a parapet and three windows, one of which is blocked. The windows are 16-pane sashes with flush boxing and moulded wood cornices. There are two 19th-century shop fronts with bars. This façade hides a 16th-century timber-frame structure beneath. The building has a machine tile roof. Nos 15 to 19 (odd) form a good group.
