Description
Neptune's Priory, located at No. 30 on High Street, is a 17th-century timber-framed building that stands two storeys tall and consists of two bays. The front and the east gable end were rebuilt in brick during the 18th century. The facade features a red brick design from the 18th century, with three storeys and two bays that include sash windows with glazing bars. The first floor is adorned with keyblocks. On the ground floor, there is a right-hand canted bay of sash windows and a left-hand projecting modern shop. The building has a tiled roof. At the rear, there are two 17th-century timber-framed gabled wings, each one storey plus an attic, with brick infill. A large stone chimney stack is also present.
