Description
No 1 Knockhall Road is a mid-19th century lodge designed in the castellated Gothic style. The building is two storeys high with attics in the gable end and is constructed from knapped flints with stone dressings, topped with a slate roof. It features a crenellated parapet and gable ends. The front elevation includes a central half-octagonal tower with lancet windows and a blocked arched doorcase. On the ground floor, there are two mullioned and transomed casement windows with hood mouldings. The first floor of this elevation has no windows, only blank shields. The west elevation contains a blank archway.
