Description
The Monks Well, located in the grounds of Ingress Abbey, is a garden structure dating from around 1833. It features a flint wall with a two-centred arch that leads to a tunnel and a semicircular vaulted roofed chamber containing a well shaft. For safety reasons, the well was filled in around 1973. This structure is part of a series of ornamental garden buildings within the grounds of Ingress Abbey.
