Description

This is an early 18th-century building on the north side of High Street. It is three storeys high with attics and constructed of red brick. The roof is tiled, featuring a dormer window and a heavy wooden eaves cornice ornamented with modillions. A string course runs above the first floor. It has two sash windows, though their glazing bars are missing. A modern shop front now occupies the ground floor. The building contributes to the group value of numbers 46 and 48, which are locally significant.
