Description

Number 8, The Parade is a timber-framed building dating from the 16th to 17th century, which has been plastered over. It stands three storeys tall and features a dormer. The building has an old tiled roof with one hipped dormer. On the second floor, there are two 18th-century sash windows with intact glazing bars. The first floor showcases two three-light canted bay windows that are supported by carved brackets, and there is an overhang above. A modern shopfront has been added. Number 8, along with numbers 9 and 10, forms a group, and it also groups with numbers 25, 25A, and 26 St Margaret's Street.
