Description

No. 25A on St Margaret's Street is a building from the 18th century with a front that features a timber frame. It stands three storeys high with an attic and is plastered. The roof is old and tiled, featuring two hipped dormers and a hipped belvedere. The building has a carved wooden bracket cornice and three sashes with intact glazing bars. There is an overhang, and the first floor has three canted bays, two of which are four-light, while one is three-light. The shopfront is modern. Originally, this house served as a Pilgrim's hostel. It forms a group with Nos. 8 and 9 The Parade.
