Description

This is a 16th-century timber-framed house with a plastered front and overhang, located on the north-east side of The Parade. The building is three storeys high and has a hipped roof covered in old tiles. The second floor features five restored mullioned and transomed casement windows with leaded lights. On the ground floor, there are four restored oriels with mullions, transoms, and carved brackets depicting centaurs. A later shopfront is also present. The side elevation extends into Mercery Lane and forms a group with numbers 10 to 16 on Mercery Lane.
