Description

Number 48 on High Street is a building dated 1887. It stands three storeys high with a gable, constructed of red brick and featuring stone dressings. The gable is topped with a finial shaped like a gryphon. The windows are designed with mullions and transoms, and there is a prominent oriel window on the first floor that includes a putto.
