Description

Nos 26 to 28 Burgate is a building with an 18th-century facade that conceals a structure from the 16th or 17th century. It has three storeys and is finished in stucco. The roof is covered with old tiles and features brick stacks. There are six sash windows, all with intact glazing bars, four of which are cambered. The building has two rainwater heads and modern shopfronts. It is part of a group that includes Nos 23 to 37 and the Christchurch Gateway.
