Description

32 Burgate is a late 18th century to early 19th century building that stands three storeys tall and is finished in stucco. It features stone coping and a rainwater head. The front has two 19th century sash windows set within moulded wooden architraves. There is also a later 19th century shopfront. On the left side, the doorcase is framed by moulded wooden architraves, with a rectangular fanlight above and a four-panelled door. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 23 to 37 and the Christchurch Gateway.
