Description

No. 33 Burgate is a mid-18th century building that stands four storeys tall, constructed of buff brick with a tiled roof. It features a parapet with coping. On the ground floor, there is one sash window set in a moulded architrave. The first floor has a curved bow with a bracket cornice, and there is a later 19th-century shopfront. This building is part of a group that includes Nos. 23 to 37 (consecutive) and the Christchurch Gateway.
