Nos 29 and 30 Burgate are 16th century buildings that stand two storeys tall with attics and are finished with plaster. They feature an old toed roof with two hipped dormers and have two restored casement windows. The shopfront has been modernized. These buildings, along with Nos 23 to 37 and the Christchurch Gateway, form a group.
