Description

The Old Stained Glass Factory, located to the rear of Number 5, including Number 5A, dates back to the 17th century. This three-storey building features a brick ground floor and weatherboarded upper floors, with metal framed casements. It is dated 1617 and has an asbestos clad roof. The ground floor includes a simple doorcase, while the right side has a partly bricked-in arch. Number 5A is a two-storey structure, also weatherboarded, with continuous casements. Number 5A is part of a group that includes the sluice gates to Kings Mill, located to the rear of Numbers 11 and 12.
